PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND ASSESSMENT

DEC will provide an independent evaluation of your current environmental, health and safety management system , providing a gap analysis of the current system compared to the ideal system for your application. As necessary, system improvement recommendations will be offered, developed and implemented. After implementation, continued periodic performance evaluations can be conducted to provide an ongoing assessment of success.

PERMITTING AND COMPLIANCE

DEC will provide permitting and compliance support for both established operations and proposed operations. Detailed evaluation of both the needs of the project and the necessary regulatory authorizations and permits will be completed with a strategy developed and implemented to ensure accurate and timely submittals as well as compliant plans for permit implementation.  Continued compliance performance evaluations can be provided to assist both local and corporate management with a “report card” of compliance status.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

DEC will provide the detailed analysis necessary to support the development of new projects and the redevelopment of existing projects on both green field and brownfield sites. A thorough evaluation of the proposal and the requisite permits and regulatory processes to achieve construction and operation will be completed. This initial evaluation will then be utilized to implement an action plan and schedule to ensure successful permitting and compliance of the project.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

DEC will provide support to your management team regarding the environmental, health and safety assessment of proposed  acquisitions and mergers. An independent review of the historical and current compliance status will be developed along with an evaluation of potential and historical environmental liabilities will be completed to provide an understanding of likely costs going forward for the proposed action.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

DEC is available to provide support to your team during times of crisis management. Both onsite and corporate expertise can be provided in response to emergencies involving personnel safety matters and environmental impact situations as well as recovery from business interruption events.
